Project Info

A permanent installation located inside the restaurant of the Canopy boutique hotel in Philadelphia. I worked closely with Tatar Art Projects to translate my woodcut based work into a large scale, permanent relief mural. The composition is an adaptation of my ‘Miter Head’ woodcuts and was created by cutting hundreds of dados in various increments then using obscure miters to align them. The mural aimed to resonate with custom millwork located throughout the hotel, while combining color and human form as an architectural intervention.
