Portrait Machine

An interactive installation at the PMA for their Final Fridays collaboration with Space 1026. Visitors were encouraged to interact with the machine by taking their photo which was then printed and altered by a group of artists inside the machine. The resulting image was fed through a tube to be received by the visitor as a souvenir. The artists inside were not visible to the visitors, invoking a sense of wonder and curiousity. I designed and built the Portrait Machine with the help of James Bonney and Space 1026.
